We collect the email address, service category and message you provide when sending an enquiry. The request also includes its date and time and your internet address. Limited usage and delivery records help us operate the website and resolve problems.

Please include only information needed for your request. Do not send payment-card details, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information.

How information is used

Your enquiry is used to deliver the service request you choose to make and allow the relevant businesses to respond. We also use limited website records to maintain the service and prevent misuse.

Enquiries are not used to add you to a general marketing mailing list.

Who receives an enquiry

Your email address and message are shared with Visit Santorini and the businesses listed for the category you choose. You can review the recipients before agreeing to send.

A receiving business is responsible for its own copy of your enquiry, its replies and any subsequent booking correspondence. Contact that business about its handling of your information, or contact Denis for help identifying recipients.

Retention and your choices

Enquiry correspondence is kept for handling your request and relevant follow-up, resolving disputes and meeting applicable obligations. Contact info@visit-santorini.com to ask about information held by Visit Santorini.

Limited website records are normally retained for up to 30 days. Some records may remain longer where needed to resolve a problem or because the hosting provider maintains them separately.

You can contact Denis to ask about access, correction or deletion of your information, or withdraw agreement to future sharing. Email already delivered cannot be recalled. The businesses receiving your enquiry may have different retention practices.

Cookies and external websites

Necessary cookies support requested features such as travel enquiries. Optional analytics help us understand visits and use of the guide, and run only if you choose Allow analytics. You can reject them or change your choice using Cookie settings.

With your permission, Google and Microsoft receive information about the pages you visit, your device and how you interact with the site. Microsoft’s service may include session recordings. The contents of enquiry fields are masked in recordings. We do not deliberately send enquiry messages or email addresses to these services.
