Perissa Santorini Guide
Guide to Perissa, Santorini: black-sand beach, accommodation, restaurants, buses, families and whether to stay here.
Read guide →Beach resort guide
Perivolos extends the dark-sand coast south of Perissa and suits travellers who want a relaxed beachfront base with plenty of dining.
The long beachfront format makes it easy to build a low-effort beach day around swimming, lunch and evening food without multiple transfers.
It is less about village sightseeing than Oia, Pyrgos or Fira. Think of it as a resort base from which you explore the rest of Santorini.
Getting there
Perivolos adjoins Perissa along the south-east coast. Bus access is usually planned through the Perissa/Perivolos area; check the current KTEL stop and return times for your exact accommodation.
Useful live information
Check current ferry departures, journey times and prices before committing to accommodation or onward transport.
Fira is the main bus hub. Seasonal timetables change, so use the operator’s current timetable rather than an old screenshot.
Taxi dispatch: (+30) 22860 22555. For a serious emergency anywhere in Greece call 112.
